Jing is free software that allows you to share anything that is displayed on your screen, both stationary and moving. You can also share your narration as you point out.
Best Practices
- Crop as tightly possible to capturing bare minimum area that would contain all information.
- Excessive border area wastes disk space on the server and screen space on the viewer’s monitor.
Testing
- If your supervisor/teacher specified, create a small image and a small (in area) and short (in length) video of some useful information using Jing
- Upload them to the server (one at a time)
- Get the link and paste them into the email’s body
- email/post those two links to your supervisor/teacher according to the specifications
